In 2024, the organization expanded its efforts with the Housing and Urban Development/ Alabama Department of Public Health Lead-Based Capacity Building Grant, hiring staff, collaborating with the City of York, AL, state partners, and laying the groundwork for enhanced community health initiatives and education initiatives, including lead paint remediation.
